As we know, social care is in crisis. Too many disabled and older people are not receiving the care they need, while pressures on the NHS, unpaid carers, and families continue to grow. There is an urgent need to establish a National Care Service that is integrated with the NHS,

providing seamless, person-centred care. We are asking you to write to your MP and Councillor asking them to support the Campaign for Free Home Care in memory of Iain Coleman MP, who introduced free home care in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham in 1991. The campaign is calling on the Government to commit to free home care at the point of need and to support the co-operative provision of social care as central principles of a future National Care Service.
